Ella Krasner – Seven Star Global Luxury Award

Ella Krasner was born in Moscow, Russia, and now divides her time between her New York and London homes. Ella Krasner and her husband, Alex Krasner, have been married for twenty-seven years and have three children together. She is well known for her discerning taste and passion for art, and has become a major figure in the global art and fashion scene as a notable collector of contemporary art and couture pieces. She has been profiled in magazines as a regular fixture in the front row of the couture shows in Paris. She is also a strong supporter of various charitable causes, working with several organisations as a patron and ambassador.

Ella Krasner holds the title of International Ambassador for the charitable children’s organisation, Amend, working to prevent child traffic injuries in Africa. Road traffic incidents are one of the leading causes of death amongst children aged five and over in developing nations and as a mother herself, Ella Krasner has been a prominent supporter of Amend who are developing and implementing effective programs in Kenya and Ghana to stem this crisis. She has been instrumental in coordinating Amend’s annual charity luncheon during the Cannes Film Festival at the Hotel du Cap, Eden Roc. Through fundraising events around the world Ella Krasner has helped raise awareness and funds for the organisation, working with sponsors including David Morris Jewellers, Thanda Resorts, WiJet Private Air and more.

As a patron of the arts, Ella Krasner is an active member on the counsel for the Serpentine Gallery in London. She has also been involved with the Royal Academy of Arts and is a patron to the cultural diplomacy body, Liberatum, which organizes festivals around the world with leading figures from the world’s of art, fashion, dance, film and literature to provide thought-provoking and inspiring events which are free for the public to attend. Recent contributions to the aforementioned organisations include hosting a Liberatum dinner for Nobel Laureate Sir V.S Naipaul with guests including Zaha Hadid, Margarita Missoni, Sir Richard and Lady Eyre, Sir Bob Geldof, Sir Evelyn and Lady de Rothschild and Franca Sozzani, editor in chief of Vogue Italia. Ella Krasner will also be co-hosting a screening event in London with Clive Owen to benefit Amend later this month.
